Having recently retired from my day job, I've become acutely aware of how little time I'd been giving to myself during the last twenty years.  Every day was spent working my job and then coming home to spend even more time house cleaning, doing laundry, and trying to keep my life reasonably manageable. 

In watching my aging parents in recent years, I also know how difficult it could be for them to do the things that were once routine activities.  Age has a way of catching up with us, doesn't it?!
